How does care actually happen?
Async, on your schedule. You message your therapist anytime, or send a voice or video memo when showing beats typing. They read your full movement profile before answering and reply with signed notes, plan changes, and form feedback. No appointments to book, no per-visit fees.
Can I pay with FSA or HSA funds?
Usually, yes, for the Clinical membership: it is licensed physical therapy care, which FSA and HSA plans typically cover. Pay with your FSA/HSA card at checkout, and we can provide documentation if your plan asks. Coaching is wellness rather than medical care, so it is generally not eligible. When in doubt, check with your plan administrator.
When am I charged?
Never automatically. Your profile is free and needs no card. You are charged only when you choose Coaching or Clinical, you can cancel anytime, and your therapist never bills you separately.
What's the difference between Coaching and Clinical?
Coaching is movement, strength, mobility, and habit guidance from a licensed physical therapist, available in every state. It is not medical care, so it never diagnoses or treats a condition. Clinical is full licensed physical therapy care, available in the states we are licensed in. If coaching runs into something clinical, we escalate you, either to clinical care where we are licensed, or to a local provider, and we tell you when we reach your state.
Do you take insurance?
No insurance is required; Alodaptive is cash-pay. In-network PT co-pays typically run $30 to $75 per visit, so membership costs less than a single month of typical co-pays, for unlimited access that never stops between visits. For clinical care we can provide a superbill you may submit for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
How much is each plan?
Coaching is $89 a month or $449 a year. Clinical is $149 a month or $749 a year. Every consult is included, no per-visit fee, no clock.
Is there an evaluation fee?
Clinical care starts with a one-time $99 evaluation: your therapist reads your full movement profile and history, writes your first signed notes, and signs your first program. Cash-pay PT evaluations typically run $150 to $250; ours is currently waived for founding members. Coaching has no evaluation fee.
Can I move from Coaching to Clinical?
Yes. Coaching is the on-ramp. When something needs clinical eyes and we are licensed in your state, you can upgrade to Clinical care with the same team. Where we are not yet licensed, we point you to a local provider and add you to the list to notify when we arrive.
